MEC_v02.settings

The following are the settings for the site! The settings are also always accessible through the gear icon that floats in the bottom left corner of other pages.

If you came here from the site's warning window

I highly recommend using your browser's back button once you're done here instead of using the terminal console below. But that's up to you, I don't control your web-surfing experience.

JavaScript Note

These settings require JavaScript to work. However some of these settings are affected by browser settings, operating system settings, or the things they affect require JS in the first place. These will be expanded upon in their descriptions.

The website uses a dark theme by default, but disabling this setting will activate a light theme. If you have a light theme setting enabled, the light theme will be enabled by default.

The website uses "justify" text alignment by default. This setting changes the site's text alignment to whatever is selected. If JavaScript is disabled, the site uses "start" text alignment by default.

The website uses the VCR OSD Mono font by default. This setting can be used to change the font into a more accessible one. If this setting is changed, you may need to refresh the page to see the changes. If JavaScript is disabled, the default font is Atkinson Hyperlegible Mono instead.

The website has styling that mimics the scanlines of a CRT screen. This settings enables/disables that styling. If you have a setting enabled that reduces motion or turns off animation, then this will be off by default.

The text flashing setting determines whether or not the MEC text shuffles when you load into pages with the MEC elements or click them. If you have JavaScript disabled, text shuffling will not appear as it functions through JS.

The website has custom cursors that can be enabled/disabled here. If JavaScript is disabled, the site will use your device's cursors.

This setting affects the custom cursor size only. If Javascript is disabled, it will use your device's cursor size.
